Terms and Conditions

We know this is the boring bit, but we would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to read through the following terms & conditions. Many thanks.

 

Insurance:

As stated on our website, deposits and payments are non refundable and so we advise you to take out holiday insurance in the unlikely event of cancellation. In the event that you do need to cancel, with notice we will move your dates for you as we would never allow anyone to lose money. We assume you accept our terms and conditions by making payment of either deposit or payment in full.

Joint bookings/bookers responsibility

Please make your booking in one name. That person will take responsibility for the agreement of the terms and conditions on behalf of the party.

 

Right to refuse:

We hold the right to refuse a booking for any reason.

If we feel the house is not being treated with care and respect, we hold the right to ask the party to leave the premises and a refund will be given where necessary.

 

Accommodation limitation:

The house must not have more than 16, plus cot, guests staying or using the house at any time. The only guests to use the house are those listed in advance on the booking form unless prior arrangements have been made in writing with Joy, for example it is fine if you would like family or friends to call in and see you, just let us know in advance.

 

Guest obligations:

Guests are asked to take care of the house at all times.

To ensure the house is in tiptop condition for your arrival, we inspect the property in great detail with an inventory, after guests have departed.

If there are any breakages or damage to the house please call Joy on 07733 270711 to report it. Guests will be asked to pay for any damages or breakages on departure of your holiday. We understand that accidents do happen.

Property cleanliness:

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and condition of the house.

We ask you to please leave the house in the same condition as you found it.

If the house is not left in an acceptable state we will bill you for extra Cleaning.

 

Loss of property:

Please take care of your property. We will not be held responsible for any loss / damage or theft to your personal property/vehicles.

 

Pets:

We are sorry but we do not accept pets.

 

Smoking:

The house is strictly a non-smoking house, as we do not have the time in between guest’s arrival to get rid of the smell of cigarettes. Guests are welcome to smoke outside.

 

Rights of entry:

We reserve the right to gain entry in to the house at any time. (This would only be in the unlikely event of an emergency)

 

Caring for the environment:

Please help take care and respect the environment.

 

Advance bookings:

We take bookings up to 2 years in advance.

If you have any complaints please contact us while you are staying in the house.
